Mobility tracks of the KEM Erasmus Mundus Program

• Semester 1 (September): All students convene at ULHT in Lisbon to begin core modules.
• Semester 2 (January): Production-track students (directors, producers, screenwriters) head to Napier University; technical-track students (cinematographers, sound designers, editors) move to BFM in Tallinn.
• Summer School (May/June): All students reunite at BFM, Tallinn.
• Semesters 3 & 4 (September–June): Project work across schools, culminating in graduation at BFM.

Admission Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in film production, or equivalent with relevant professional experience.
• Online application form, passport copy, photograph, diploma and transcripts (certified English translations if needed).
• CV, 2–3 Recommendation Letters, motivation letter (max 1000 characters), expectations statement (max 1000 characters).
• Portfolio / show reel (max 6 min, with credits/subtitles). Additional materials based on specialization (e.g., screenplay samples for writing, treatment out-lines, long-form drama proposals).
• Proof of English proficiency, and residence/work/study certificate.
