Mobility Tracks of the EMSHIP Erasmus Mundus Program

Track A (Research-Oriented):

  • Semester 1: University of Liège (Belgium)
  • Semester 2: ECN – Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France)
  • Semester 3: University of Rostock (Germany) or University of Genoa (Italy) or Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Romania)
  • Semester 4: Master’s Thesis at any EMSHIP partner university or associated industrial partner

Track B (Professional-Oriented):

  • Focuses more on applied learning, practical shipbuilding techniques, and industrial internships
  • May include additional mobility to the University of Michigan (USA) or another associated institution for advanced training or research

Admission Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) in mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, naval architecture, marine technology or a related discipline. 
  • Minimum English proficiency: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 80, or equivalent
