ME3+ Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters in Management and Engineering of Environment and Energy

The ME3+ Erasmus Mundus program is a two year master’s degree designed to train specialists in the fields of energy and environmental transition. Taught entirely in English, it combines engineering, management, information and communication technologies, and social sciences to prepare graduates for leadership roles in addressing climate and sustainability challenges. The program is closely aligned with the objectives of the European Green Deal and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring that students gain the knowledge and skills required for a global career in sustainable development.

The program is jointly delivered by five leading European universities: IMT Atlantique in France, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Hungary, the Free University of Bozen Bolzano and the University of Trento in Italy, and the University of Borås in Sweden. Students can choose from three study tracks, namely renewable energy integration, resource recovery for the circular economy, and smart cities with industry four point zero. The academic pathway includes coursework across multiple universities, followed by a six month research or industrial thesis, leading to the award of a double or joint Master of Science degree along with a certificate issued by the consortium.
