The WE-TEAM Erasmus Mundus programme is an internationally renowned Master’s degree in Textile Engineering that blends expertise, mobility, and innovation. It began nearly two decades ago as E-TEAM and continues to excel through its consortium structure, eclectic teaching methods, and strong ties with the textile industry. Courses are delivered in intensive, one-week modules by global experts, spanning materials science, manufacturing, and applied technologies. The final semester focuses on thesis research, often in collaboration with industry or chosen academic hosts

Mobility Tracks of the WE-TEAM Erasmus Mundus Program

• Semester 1: Ghent University, Belgium (focus: Materials)
• Semester 2: University of West Attica (Greece) or University of Haute-Alsace (France) (edition-dependent) (focus: Manufacturing)
• Semester 3: University of Borås (Sweden) or Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan) (focus: Applications)
• Semester 4: Thesis at a full or associate partner of choice, possibly with industry collaboration

Admission Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (minimum 180 ECTS / 3 years)
• At least 15 ECTS in mathematics, and 10 ECTS in chemistry & physics (adjusted for Japanese system)
• Official documentation from a recognized university; final year students considered, provided degree completed before start
• English proficiency: B2 Cambridge, IELTS ≥ 6.5 (≥6 writing), TOEFL (paper 570/internet 86), TOEIC ≥ 1560, or proof of 60 ECTS in English-taught instruction.
